DUOVV comprises Mrs Karen Blair (violin) and Mr Kim Kirkman (viola). Karen studied
at the Queensland Conservatorium for six years and has performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra many times. Kim Kirkman won the North Queensland Concerto Competition in 1993 after completing a Bachelor of Music in Townsville. Karen and Kim have both taught strings at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Mackay.
